Lighthouse was founded by Mark McAlpine who draws on over 10 years’ experience in recruitment and having worked directly for Aged Care providers and recruitment agencies.
The motivation of Lighthouse stemmed from the evolving landscape that the Aged Care sector currently finds itself in and the pursuit to provide a professional and specialised recruitment service.

Meet Nicola, our Recruitment Manager
Nicola has over 7 years experience recruiting in the aged care sector. Nic has a wealth of knowledge and understanding of the needs and wants of her candidates and clients. Successfully recruiting positions from Regional Managers to Registered Nurses across metro and regional QLD .
Nic is extremely passionate and dedicated to her role, a good listener, supportive, and focused to provide the best recruitment experience by matching her candidates and clients together.

Meet Emily, our Senior Recruitment Consultant
Emily has over 5 years experience recruiting in the aged care sector and over 10 years of experience in Client Services & Human Resources Management. The Client and candidate are of paramount importance to Emily, as she strives to build a great rapport with both.
Currently based in Sydney, Emily also has experience working and residing interstate, in Melbourne and in regional parts of NSW. Successfully recruiting positions from General Managers to Registered Nurse’s across Australia. Emily’s enthusiastic and empathetic approach sets her up for success in nurturing great relationships and sourcing top talent.
Emily has a cheerful disposition and is very dedicated to her role. She has a great sense of humour and her energy and determination allow her to provide the best recruitment experience for her candidates and clients together.

Meet Tanya, our Senior Recruitment Consultant
Tanya has 10 years of professional customer experience across Disability, Social Services & Aged Care staffing, and Recruitment, with the aim of becoming a subject matter expert in the Aged Care sector across both Regional and Metro NSW & ACT.
Tanya’s goal is to provide the best Client and Candidate experience that enables a positive impact to some of the most essential corporate roles for the provision of aged care facilities.
She has graduated with Honours in Clinical Psychology from UNSW.
Although deeply connected to Aged Care, Tanya also has an interest in yoga, pilates, and dancing in her personal time.
